- United Nations Office at Nairobi (hereinafter referred to as UNON) on behalf of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for the Design and Development of the Information System for The Integrated Resilient Landscape Approach (SI-APRI) for UNEP. The project aims to strengthen environmental data management and monitoring in Haiti through:•Development of the SI-APRI system and integration of a pilot Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN) monitoring component under the project "Enabling Large-Scale Ecosystem Restoration in Haiti through the Piloting and Implementation of Payments for Environmental Services Schemes."•Consolidation of the National Environmental Information System (NEIS) to improve data interoperability and institutional capacities.•Establishment of landscape-level information systems in the South and Grand-Anse regions.•Enhancement of real-time environmental monitoring using satellite data, web platforms, and GIS tools.•Support for evidence-based decision-making, improved coordination among stakeholders, and strengthened national reporting on LDN and related environmental indicators.These efforts collectively promote sustainable land management, ecosystem restoration, and resilience in Haiti's vulnerable landscapes.Additional details, specifications, and terms of reference shall be provided in the tender document to be issued subsequent to this REOI.
