- Expression of Interest are invited for Improving the Competitiveness of Industrial Parks in Haiti by Designing Strategies to Foster Industrial Resilience and Decarbonization. The objective of the World Banks project, which this assignment is designed to support, is to contribute to labor demand by supporting micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and value chains' resilience and growth. This work will focus on the role of Haitis existing public and private industrial parks in fostering national environmental sustainability objectives and increasing access to markets. This work aims to perform an assessment of the gaps for sustainable growth of the Haitian garment sector and identify priority areas for interventions. The study will identify sector-wide greening opportunities while leveraging industrial parks as anchors of good practices. The study will apply the Haitian context to the Eco-Industrial Park (EIP) framework that will outline minimum requirements for a parks environmental, social and economic performance, including the overall management.
